Spreading succulent ground cover. Triangular in section leaves to 10cm.
Light purple shading to white pig face like flowers, most of the year, followed by purplish-red fruits. These fruits were eaten by the indigenous, the salty leaves were also eaten with meat due to their saltiness.
Mainly a coastal dune plant but can also be used in gardens and other coastal woodland revegetation projects. Fantastic as a ground cover to prevent weeds.
