A Slow growing dense mounding to spreading sub-shrub.
Prickly heathy leaves green to grey underneath.
Very interesting clusters of miniature 'honey pot' tubular white, red to green shaped flowers that are full nectar. Later followed by small drupes.
Flowers smell of honey and were used as a food and drink source for some indigenous people.
Heigh x Width: 10-30cm x 0.5-1m
Conditions: Most well drained soils tolerant of dry periods. Semi-shade to dappled shade.
