From the Author of 'Flora of the Otways Plains Vol. 1&2' (A much loved out of print Illustrated book on flora of the Surfcoast and Surrounds) comes The Illustrated Plant Glossary.
Known for her beautiful detailed colour Illustrations this Glossary helps readers understand Industry used Botany terms in pictorial form with a text description.
The coloured drawings are superb and really help you understand the subject matter in an easy to read way. They are often annotated with text.
There are seperate sections that cover topics and expand upon such as eg. Leaf Margin definitions. dedicating a whole page to the subject.
An Incredibly useful, beautiful book to have in your arsenal to help decipher tricky botanical descriptions and terminology. My only issue with the book is there is no hardcover version or plastic dust jacket. It can be a bit fragile in the long term and best kept safe on your bookshelf not your garden shed. An alphabetical reference on the side would be great to speed up searches.
