Is a succulent, trailing, scrambling or climbing perennial subshrub.

It can also be used as a ground cover plant but it is particularly useful for climbing up fences and trees, It can even turn your fence or lattice into a thick hedge like cover.

Yellow fragrant flowers followed by reddish berries which are eaten by birds and lizards.

A Wadawurrung food source for both the leaves and berries. The foliage was encouraged to grow over huts.
