A tree that was originally much more widespread than the peninsula all the way down to torquay.

Only small remnant patches remain today, they can be found in the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve and throughout the ‘Yellow Gums’ estate

Important nectar source for the endangered Swift Parrot.

Fibrous bark around 1-2 meters from the base then changing to a smooth motley trunk.

Connate (two leaves fused together) junior leaves later forming slender blue/green leaves with a red margin and yellow midrib

Yellow Eucalyptus flowers.

Listed as rare in Victoria.

Height x Width: To 12m high, Higher in mature examples.

Conditions: Well drained soils to clay, Full sun to Semi-shade
