Thin wiry leaves with a space needle like ball shaped flowerhead (Similar to Knobby Club-rush), shooting off from the side of leaves, then followed by black to brown drying off seed.
Mostly confined and seen in the Ocean Grove Nature Reserve. Less common than Ficinia nodosa. Found in Aquatic Sedgeland, Swamp scrub, Wet heathland.
