Dense low rounded or spreading shrub, 1-2m x 1-2m.

Profuse 'egg and bacon' pea flowers in spring.

Tolerates fairly hard pruning once established and can be used as an informal hedge or low screen.

The last remnant plants on the Bellarine can be seen in the Drysdale Basin.

Conditions: Most well-drained soils in full sun, but best in dappled shade.
