Very fast growing open spreading tree with rough dark trunk and smooth angular, downy, greenish-brown young branches. dark to olive green fine leaves.
Strongly scented pale yellow ball shaped flowers dense flower heads sep-dec.
Commonly mistaken for silver wattle which is not indigenous to the peninsula.
Prefers well drained soils. Full sun to part shade.
