A spreading succulent perennial herb. Found in coastal conditions in Coastal dunes and saltmarsh environments.
Crowded leaves on earth stem, grey to green.
Tiny tubular flowers followed by hard succulent fruits often red.
May be confused with Enchylanena tomentosa ‘Barrier Saltbush’ Which have a more hairy foilage and flatter, juicer fruit.

Conditions: Moist to well drained sandy soils and or saline soils. Full Sun
